Dena Metili Mwangi is a senior engineering leader with experience leading product and growth engineering teams at Pinterest and Honeycomb.io. A passionate advocate for the next generation of underrepresented engineers, she helped organize the Tapia GenAI hackathon and brings years of hands-on experience hiring and mentoring interns and new grads. As a member of the Tapia Industry Engagement Board, Dena is focused on closing the gap between talent and opportunity — turning her industry insight into concrete preparation, exposure, and support for students entering the tech workforce.
