INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT BOARD (IEB)

Rubén Lozano Aguilera is the Product Manager at the Allen Institute for AI (Ai2) for Asta, Ai2’s open-source initiative to build rigorous AI agentic tools for scientific research. He spent 15+ years in product management and tech strategy at Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Samsung. He has trained teams on ethical AI at Amazon, Google, and MIT, and has mentored startups, nonprofits, and LGBTQ+ organizations. A queer, first-generation Mexican immigrant, Rubén holds a B.S. in EE from Tec de Monterrey, an MBA from MIT Sloan, and is pursuing a master’s in AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge.
